Hello Riders,
My name is Mark Pickering and
I am the youth pastor at
Hillside Christian Community,
I rode with you all at
blessing of the bikes (the guy
with the ape hangers), and our
youth here are going to Summer
Camp at Myrtle Beach.
“Why do kids need to go to
Myrtle Beach
for summer camp?” Well I am
glad you asked.
20 minutes south of
Myrtle Beach
is a youth camp called Garden
City. At Garden City not only
do the kids get the pleasure
of being just 100yds from the
beach, but they learn how to
have a better relationship
with our Lord and Savior.
This years’ trip costs each
student $185. So we are
having a fundraiser bike run.
Come to the church for service
or after for the ride but stay
for the food, fellowship, and
fun.
The cost is $20 and that
includes a shirt, all you can
eat, and the ride. All
proceeds will go directly to
the youth summer camp trip.
Attached is a flyer for you.
You can print it out and give
it to all your friends that
ride as well. I would like to
get our lot filled with bikes
this year.
Thank you for your time
Blessings
Mark
